Tools needed: Oven, Loaf pan, Wire whisk sauce pan, parchment paper.
INGREDIENTS
For the Cake
All purpose flour 1-1/2 cup
Baking soda 1 tsp
Sugar 1 cup
Cocoa powder 1/4 cup
Water 1 cup
Vinegar 1 tablespoon
Vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon
Vegetable Oil 1/4 cup
For frosting
Corn flour 1 tablespoon
Water 1/2 cup
Icing sugar 1/2 cup
Cocoa powder 1/4 cup
Icing sugar 1/2 cup
For Garnish
Chopped pistachios, almonds, cashewnuts 2 tbsp each.
METHOD
Preheat oven at 180°C. Grease and line a baking loaf pan 4×8 inch size.
Keep a sauce pan on heat and mix together all wet ingredients for the cake, i.e. water, sugar, oil, vanilla extract and vinegar.
Heat wet ingredients, until sugar dissolves. After sugar melts switch off flame. Let cool until slightly warm.
In a bowl whisk together flour, baking soda and cocoa powder.
Mix wet and dry ingredients.
Pour in prepared pan.

Bake until skewer inserted comes out clean. Remove the cake from oven and let cool over wire rack.
