Easy Strawberry Jello is a retro recipe that's perfect for spring, holidays, parties and potlucks. You'll love this jiggly pink treat! Need only few ingredients to put together this dish, involving few minutes of cooking!! and rest of the work your kitchen partner Mr. Refrigerator will take care of. I am using strawberry powder, if not available you may add thick fruit crush or puree.
RECIPE
Serves 4 people
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Setting time: 1 hour
Tools Needed: Sauce pan, glasses to set jello.
INGREDIENTS
Milk 1 cup
Full cream 1 cup
Strawberry powder 1 tbsp
Agar agar powder 1 tsp
Unrefined Sugar 2 tbsp
Strawberry syrup 3 tsp
Whipped cream/ ice cream topping (optional) 3 scoops
Few mint leaves for garnish
METHOD
Take milk and cream in the sauce pan.
Whisk to combine agar agar well in the milk mixture.
Keep this mixture on medium flame until agar agar is completely dissolved.
Spoon out the bubbles that are formed on top of the milk, if any.
Pour the mixture in glasses to set jello. Keep in refrigerator for atleast 1-2 hours. Keep refrigerated until use.
Once set decorate with strawberry syrup, scoop of ice cream mint leaves and enjoy any time of the day.
