Grounded sugarfree nuts mixture is covered in desiccated coconut mixed in homemade Condensed Milk. These balls are then dipped in melted chocolate and left in refrigerator to set for 30 minutes.
♡ Coconut Ferrero Rocher ♡
RECIPE
Yields: 10 pieces
Prep time: 35 minutes including setting time
Cook time: 5 minutes
Tools: Sauce pan, mixer grinder, tiny muffin cups(optional)
INGREDIENTS
1. Dates 5.
2. Pistachio nuts 2 tbsp.
3. Cashewnuts 2 tbsp.
4. Almonds 4 tbsp.
5. Dessicated coconut 1 cup.
6. Condensed Milk 1/2 cup.
7. Chocolate 100 grams.
8. Ghee 2 tsp.
METHOD
1. Chop chocolates and tranfer into a bowl.
2. Deseed dates and put in mixer jar.
3. Add all the nuts along with dates to mixer jar and ground to semi fine pieces.
4. Grease palms with ghee and roll the powdered nuts to tiny balls.
5. Take the dessicated coconut in a dish. Pour condensed milk, combine well.
6. Pinch a lemon sized piece out of the coconut mixture. Spread it on your palm.
7. Place dry fruit ball in the centre.
8. Seal the ball with coconut mixture.
9. Roll it nicely.
10. Boil 1/2 cup water in a pan. Place the bowl with chocolates over the pan. Or melt chocolate in microwave.
11. Coat coconut balls one by one with melted chocolate.
12. Place the the chocolate coated balls in muffin cups or on a tray.
13. Chill these for 30 minutes. Homemade Coconut Ferrero Rocher is ready to be enjoyed for your festive season.
