This is the real energizing health drink for all ages. Best breakfast ever with all the required nutrients present. Personally I have to nag my kids to eat dates, its not that they hate it, but they feel lazy to eat it. Although my elder one is a good girl and listens to her mom and eats her portion, but its a bit of a struggle with my boy. So I find it better this way, to make a milk shake, it keeps them full for at least 2 hours and I am satisfied that I was successful in feeding them their portion of goodness for the day.

Dates Milk Shake
RECIPE
Serves 3
Prep time 1 hours
Total time 1 hour 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
10-12 dates, deseeded
1 1/2 cup chilled milk
1/4 cup frozen milk
1 cup milk for soaking dates
1 1/2 tablespoons powdered jaggery
2 tablespoons fresh cream (optional)
Method:
1. Take a mixer jar and
add deseeded cleaned dates and jaggery.
2. Add 1 cup Luke warm
milk for soaking. Cover and leave for at least an hour.
3. After an hour make a
fine paste of the soaked dates.
4. Take this paste in a juicer mixer
jar.
5. Add 1 1/2 cups of milk to the
jar.
6. Break the frown 1/4
cup of milk and add them in the jar.
7. Add fresh cream to make the shake
richer and thicker. But this is totally optional.
8. Blend the mixer just for a minute.
9. Our healthy creamy and delicious
'Dates Milk Shake' is ready to serve.
