Papaya Pudding



Yay! I found a fun way to make my kids eat papaya😛.

Papaya fruit contain components that provide benefits to the body of your child as they have a variety of nutrients. The nutrients are useful in the body's defense system. All over the world, this fruit is called the golden fruit since it has enzyme papain which is extracted from the fruit & leaf.

This is recipe uses agar agar powder which is a vegetarian substitute for gelatin. It works perfectly fine and you can see the result in the pictures. It's a quick 5 minutes recipe, setting time takes just 30 minutes in refrigerator.




RECIPE

Serves: 4 persons
Prep time: 5 min
Cook time: 5 min
Tool: sauce pan, whisk, chopping board

INGREDIENTS

Papaya 1
Milk 1 cup
Unrefined sugar 4 tbsp
Agar agar 2 tsp
Water 1/3 cup 0.33
Vanilla extract 0.5 tsp




METHOD

Wash clean and peel papaya.





Slice from the middle. Scoop out and discard the thready middle.




Securely place one half on a fridge safe bowl.




Cut other half in small dice.




In a sauce add water agar agar and boil.




When agar agar has dissolved add vanilla extract and mix.




In another pan mix milk and unrefined sugar, let it dissolve in milk completely.





Add agar agar mixture and let everything combine. Switch off flame.




Wait for mixture to cool a bit.





Pour the prepared pudding mixture onto the half papaya secured on a bowl.







You can also use muffin or any cups for this.





Place in refrigerator to set for atlest 2 hours.

Slice the papaya pudding and serve.
