Chaas is Prepared from curd and is consumed as a starter or as a snack on its own. Popular across India. Call it Chaas or Chhach in Hindi, Morru in Tamil, Majjiga in Telugu, Majjige in Kannad, Ghol in Bengali, Taak in Marathi or Ale in Tulu. It is commonly known as Buttermilk which flavoured with different condiments.
Mint Chaas
Yields :4 large glasses
Prep time: 2 minutes
Tools Needed: measuring cup used 250 ml, Mixer grinder.
INGREDIENTS
1. Mint Leaves ½ cup.
2. Curd 1 1/2 cups
3. Himalayan Salt 2 Tsp.
4. Water 1 cup.
5. Ice Cubes 6-8.
METHOD
1. In a Juicer Mixer pot add Curd, salt, mint leaves and water.
2. Pulse for 30 seconds.
3. Remove in a serving jar.
4. Add Cubes and refrigerate until use.
5. Top with few mint leaves an ice cubes.
